Yalumba Family Winemakers, a renowned Australian winery situated in the heart of Barossa Valley, SA, offers an exceptional wine tasting experience that takes you through their iconic and premium wines. This full-day journey begins in their Wine Room, where you will be greeted by one of Yalumba's friendly Wine Ambassadors, who will host you throughout the day and share the stories behind their exceptional award-winning wines.
The progressive tasting experience starts with a glass of Yalumba The Virgilius, their flagship white wine and Australia's benchmark Viognier. As you savor this exquisite wine, you will be led to their Family Tasting Room, where you will learn about the family's passions and taste their Rare & Fine Grenache, The Tri-Centenary.
Next, you will stroll through the stunning grounds, past the iconic Clocktower to the private Signature Cellar. Here, you will partake in a comparative tasting of The Signature Cabernet Sauvignon & Shiraz, both current release and their future vintage straight from the barrel. The Signature encompasses everything Yalumba stands for and is the perfect representation of their history and ethos.
As you continue your journey, you will have rare and privileged access into the family's personal wine museum, an impressive collection that includes some of Australia's first wines and other significant wine labels from the Old World. You will then visit the Cooperage, where you will learn how Yalumba's barrels are made while tasting their flagship Shiraz, The Octavius.
The journey culminates in The Caley Hut, where you will be guided through three vintages of The Caley Cabernet & Shiraz while enjoying an abundant local produce platter. This exceptional wine tasting experience highlights Yalumba's commitment to wine appreciation and culture, showcasing some of Australia's finest wines.
