Discover the beauty and wilderness of Regional South Australia with a day tour to Port Lincoln National Park, offered by our partner, Tour South. This must-visit destination showcases the rugged coastline of Eyre Peninsula, with exclusive beaches, abundant wildlife, and crystal-clear water.
One of the highlights of the tour is the massive sand dune system at Wanna Sand Dunes, accessible via the Sleaford to Wanna 4WD track, one of the best off-road tracks in South Australia. Travel with Tour South in a well-equipped off-road vehicle, and they will show you the best parts of the track safely. (Please note that exploring the whole track requires a full day, and alternative arrangements can be made under their private tour.)
The tour also offers the opportunity to encounter unique local wildlife, such as Western Grey Kangaroos, Emus, Koalas, Tiger Snakes, and Goanna Lizards, in their natural habitats. However, observing wildlife requires patience, and sightings are not guaranteed as they are free-roaming.
Port Lincoln is famous for its world-class seafood, and Tour South offers a fresh seafood lunch, including Mussels and King Prawns, catering to various dietary requirements. To complement the meal, Tour South also offers local premium wine, gin, and beer, subject to additional costs.
The day tour also features a visit to the epic limestone coastline, starting from Port Lincoln and extending to Western Australia. Tour South will take you to explore the incredible limestone coasts around Port Lincoln, including the private property of Whalers Way, subject to availability. If Whalers Way is not accessible, they will arrange to explore more remote and exclusive areas in Lincoln National Park.
Join Tour South on this day tour and discover the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Regional South Australia. At We Wander, we are proud to partner with Tour South, a local operator committed to providing authentic and memorable experiences to their visitors.
