Your journey begins on the Gabbi Karniny Bidi, where you''ll take in the best views of the island from Vlamingh Lookout. You''ll then explore Lake Baghdad, home to an array of birdlife, and walk on water along the Lakes Boardwalk. A visit to Wadjemup Lighthouse, the highest point on the island, offers panoramic views of the surrounding waters.
As the day warms up, you''ll cool down with a paddle in the calm waters of Little Parakeet Bay before heading to Geordie Bay, Longreach Bay, and The Basin, one of the island''s most popular swimming spots.

The tour starts at the visitors centre lawn, and return ferry tickets from Fremantle can be added at checkout. The trail difficulty is grade 3, with some inclines and declines, as well as sand walking.
